Hello! And that you for visiting our website! My name is John McGrath, the founder of Kaya-Connect Cannabis Solutions. I began the start of of my professional career in Cannabis back in early 2013 in Boulder County, Colorado and currently manage a 9,000+ plant grow for a very successful Cannabis company. Since youth, I was always enamored with Cannabis and the profound, life-changing effects it had on people using it for medical applications. While Colorado had a booming medical industry prior to 2013, the recreational industry opened a drastically new realm for this magical plant. People now had open access to a natural, healthy alternative to pain management and toxic pharmaceuticals. My passion, however, quickly became consumed by more liberatarian ideals. We were beginning to unravel the damage of a failed and antiquated war on drugs that destroyed so many lives in it’s path. As the years progressed, we were able to watch societal acceptance grow as cannabis provided funding to the public school systems, jail-sentences were overturned, and the people regained their freedom. While all this change was occuring on the surface level of society, as was it on the back-end.. As state regulators were scrambling to understand and regulate a new product that was now being mass-distributed to the public, us cultivators were having to navigate and respond to this rapidly changing regulatory environment, all while producing a quality product for our consumers. While the cannabis industry has certainly come a long way, there is still a ways to go. I started Kaya-Connect to connect seasoned industry professionals with new and existing cannabis business operators and entreprenuers to provide guidance and knowledge acquired through experience and set them down their path to success.
